This has been a long time in the works, well mainly more of a thought than actually in the works. But here it is!! Light airy and so pretty with pink being my accent color. I used a pretty, light blush/dusty rose pink on the closet doors and I absolutely LOVE how it turned out! I am obsessed and never thought painting closet doors would have such a dramatic impact, I might just have to paint a few more!
I can't even share the color of the paint, I had some left over paint from the walls and a few random colors laying around so I did a custom mix for the closet doors.
I don't have many before pictures (I thought I had quite a few until I looked through the pics...oops!!) But it was dark, definitely not an inspiring work space and I honestly never liked working in this room the way it was.
My tips on your workspace/studio:
1. Make it yours!!! This is so important, you need a space that is all about you! It's ok if you don't have a full room to make into a studio space, even if you have a corner of a room, make it yours!
2. Make it as pretty as possible! You honestly do not need to spend a ton of money. Look around at places like Walmart, Dollar stores and Liquidation centres. You might be surprised at what you can find. Also, use up some of your craft supplies and make some cool wall art or items that would look great in your space.
Having a pretty little space that is dedicated to you and your craft is key! You will love working in there and be more inspired!
